From a short brief to a site that grows with the business.
Lexaura Mediation is a mediation practice in South London. This is how its website came together, stage by stage, and what each stage would cost on our plans.
A straight word on the prices
Lexaura is our founding pilot client: the site was built free of charge while we tested the service. The prices on this page show what each stage would cost on our plans today. They are not what Lexaura paid.

How it developed, side by side with what it would cost

- Starting out
The brief, and three ways it could look
The founder wanted to move off an old template site. Her brief was short: calm, clear, and careful about what the business does and doesn’t do.
Rather than describe options, we built three different homepages for her to compare on her own phone: one calm and editorial, one warm and friendly, one clear and structured. She chose the warm one, with the photographs from the editorial one.
Calm and editorial
Warm and friendly
Clear and structured
- Taking shape
Built in her chosen style
The chosen design became a working site: a homepage and a services page, a plain-English FAQ, and two free tools for her visitors, a “Do I need a mediator?” quiz and a divorce and break-up checklist. Both tools run in the visitor’s browser and store nothing.
It is custom code, written for this site, not a template with her logo dropped in. Her colours come from her logo, and the images are original, AI-generated for her site.
- Growing with her ideas
Growing with her plans
As she saw the site, her ideas grew, and the site grew with them: online booking linked to her own calendar, a blog she runs by email, a counselling referral section, her headshot and her own words, “Prices” renamed “Fees”, and new Careers and Events pages for later.
Her blog comes with a personal AI editor, set up around mediation and her practice. She emails an idea or a rough draft, it helps shape it into a finished post in her own voice, and she gets a private preview to change or approve. Nothing is published until she says so.
We also drafted a privacy notice and website terms written for what her site actually does, and moved the fonts onto the site itself so visitors’ browsers don’t have to contact an outside font service.

- Up and running
Live, and hers to edit
The company’s details went into every footer, as UK law requires for a limited company. The privacy notice and terms were published. She asked to edit her Careers page herself, so we added a simple editor for just that page: she signs in, types, presses publish, and it’s live a couple of minutes later.
Then the site went live on her own domain, lexauramediation.com, ready for whatever she thinks of next.

Why we show you, rather than ask you to describe it
I’m Elliot, and I started Elite Rose because I kept watching friends struggle: with their IT, and with the people who sell it. Good ideas were getting lost somewhere between the business owner and the tech. I’ve always wanted to bridge that gap, so I brought my communication skills to building websites, to help new and small businesses grow with as little pain as possible.
My working life has crossed several worlds that don’t often meet. Before 2000 I ran my own IT company, fixing Year 2000 bugs for banks and airlines. Since then I’ve become a BABCP-accredited CBT therapist and an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, working as a senior lecturer who trains cognitive behavioural therapists. Along the way I’ve spent years teaching clients how to use technology to make their lives easier and to improve their mental health. A thought or idea can sit stuck in your head for a long time and feel impossible to resolve. My broad experience lets me help you pin your ideas down, so your mind is free to focus on what’s ahead for you and your business.
Many people think in pictures. That’s especially common among neurodivergent people, and it’s often where the most original ideas come from. But it also means a blank brief or a long questionnaire can stall a project before it starts. Put something real in front of the same person, and the ideas start to flow.
That’s why I build rather than describe. With Lexaura, presenting three real, full homepages did more than any discussion could have. Once the site came to life, the founder’s vision for her business expanded rapidly: booking, a blog, a referral section, pages for careers and events. You can see that growth naturally evolve in the case study above, from Launch to Run.
Teaching taught me something else: the same information lands differently with different people. That’s why our own site comes in different styles. Each one tells the same story in a different way, for a different kind of reader. We will do the same for your audience, whoever they are.
Whatever you’re building, my job is to get your vision onto the screen, then help it to grow with you.

The price walkthrough, in one table
What this would cost on our plans. Illustrative: Lexaura is a free pilot and paid none of this.
| Stage | What was added | On our plans |
|---|---|---|
| Start | Design and build, homepage and services, FAQ | Launch: £249 setup + £49 a month |
| Growing | Online booking, blog by email, more pages (the privacy notice is in every plan) | Upgrade to Grow: £199 one-off + £89 a month |
| Up and running | Around 10 pages, live on its own domain | Upgrade to Run: from £295 one-off + £149 a month |
| Extras | Two free interactive tools; editing the Careers page herself | Quoted separately |
Upgrade fees cover the new work only; existing pages aren’t charged again. If you know you’ll need it from the start, starting on the bigger plan saves on setup fees. A new client starting straight on Run pays setup from £595; getting there by upgrading, as here, comes to from £743 (£249 + £199 + £295).
How we worked together
Shoulder to shoulder, not handed off
Lexaura’s founder sent changes by message and email as her plans took shape. Each change was checked on a phone and a laptop, then put live. We held video calls and face-to-face meetings whenever it suited her and I felt it would help. There were no tickets, and no waiting list for a monthly slot.
Careful with the words
Mediation is a field where wording matters. The site says what the business does and doesn’t do, makes no claims it can’t back up, and carries the company’s details in every footer.
Built to grow
Because it’s custom code, each new idea went into Lexaura’s website as a feature of its own, rather than a plugin bolted on to a pre-made template.
